Who we are
This policy covers thundercloud.gg, run by Thundercloud Technology Ltd., Calgary, Alberta, Canada. For any privacy question or request, email samantha@thundercloud.gg.
What this website collects
The site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it loads no fonts or scripts from other companies.
The site is hosted on Google Cloud. Like any web server, it receives the technical details every browser sends to load a page: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the time. These are used to deliver the page and to keep the service secure. Google Cloud may keep these request logs for up to 30 days.
When you contact us
The contact form does not send anything to us. It opens a draft in your own email app, and nothing leaves your device until you send that email yourself.
When you email us, we receive what you choose to send, usually your name, your email address and your message. We use it to reply, to provide anything you ask for, such as a consultation or a demo, and to keep a record of the conversation. Our email is hosted by Google Workspace.
How we use and share it
We use personal information only for the purposes above, to run and protect the website, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell it, rent it or add you to a mailing list without asking.
We share it only with the service providers that run our website and email (Google). They may store it outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to local laws.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for two years after our last contact with you, then delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer, for example as a business or tax record.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Email samantha@thundercloud.gg and we will reply within the time the law allows.
We handle personal information under Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where it applies, Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.
Products in private preview
This policy covers the website only. If you join a private preview of Terminalia or another Saturn subsystem, we will tell you how your information is handled before you share any.
Changes to this policy
If we change how the website handles personal information, we will update this page and the date above.
